The Probus Club of Burlington brings together retired and semi-retired men for monthly meetings with engaging guest speakers, good coffee and even better conversation.
Our goal is to provide Fellowship, Friendship and Fun for men in their retirement and semi-retirement years.
We are a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian fellowship organization with our strength in our membership. Our club is about encouraging healthy minds and bodies and socializing with other retirees in the community.
In PROBUS you’ll find a wealth of new experiences and a much expanded social network: engaging guest speakers, interesting activities and social events, stimulating conversation, and the chance to explore your community with new friends.
A vital purpose
We stimulate thought, interest and participation in activities at a time in life when it is easy to become complacent.
Our regular gatherings bring together people who, in retirement, appreciate opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances and with shared interests.

Our club was founded in 1987, the year PROBUS came to Canada, as the country’s third Probus club. As PROBUS Canada celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2027, we’re proud to mark four decades right alongside it.
