The online form is the easiest way to prepare your application. Alternatively, complete the Word forms on your computer, or print and fill them in by hand. You can scan and email the completed forms, or return them by post or in person.
Membership fees
2026 annual fees are $60. The usual $25 initiation fee is waived for 2026.
Joining October 1–December 31, 2026? Your $60 payment covers the balance of 2026 and is applied to your 2027 fees.

Prefer paper? Mail your completed application with your cheque to the address below, or bring them in person to a meeting. For assistance in completing the application, please contact the Membership Chairman or any Management Committee Member.

Who can join?
Our club welcomes men who are retired or semi-retired from their job or business and who enjoy spending time with like-minded retirees.
- You don’t need to have been a professional or business owner — members come from every kind of career.
- There are no fundraising or volunteering requirements. Get involved as much as you like.
Membership includes our monthly general meetings and speakers, the monthly newsletter, and the chance to join interest groups and outings.

No. Probus stands for PROfessional and BUSiness, but the club welcomes anyone who is retired or semi-retired, whatever their career.
No. Probus is a social club, not a service club. There’s no fundraising and no community-service requirement — it’s all about fellowship.
No. Probus clubs are non-political and non-sectarian. We meet at Burlington East Presbyterian Church, but the club is not affiliated with any faith.
